Ben feared he would need to leave his family home after his father’s health and ability to manage the household deteriorated.

Ben’s father had always looked after him, and Ben wasn’t sure he could continue on his own.

Ben’s long-term support worker stepped up to help.

The Support Worker assisted both Ben and his father to have independent legal guardians appointed to ensure their long-term assistance, and helped Ben assist his father to be assessed for Aged Care.

Now, Ben is able to live in his family home, and his father has been able to live in the Aged Care facility of his choice where Ben can visit him all the time.
